Understanding VET - An Introduction
Overview
The Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector is a unique, challenging and rapidly changing environment in which to lead and manage.
Leaders in the Australian VET sector need a strong understanding of the local, national and international context, the policy environment and influences, regulatory structures and organisational dynamics.
This one-day induction program is designed to assist teaching and administrative staff to understand the VET landscape and introduce them to key issues including regulatory structures, funding sources, stakeholders and contemporary debates affecting Registered Training Organisations and themselves.
Designed for
Staff who have recently begun working within the VET sector, regardless of their level within the organisation, and more experienced staff wishing to improved their understanding of the sector.
